A choice firmly guided by seasonality.
Our company
A story that grew
alongside our trees.
Biosiculà is rooted in our family's farming experience.
A story that began in the fields and developed through change and new ideas, guided by one enduring belief: farming must create value for those who produce and those who choose what we grow.
Organic by choice
Organic since 2006. Today we are looking even further ahead.
Our produce has been certified organic and inspected annually for twenty years. For us, organic is more than a certification: it means respecting the seasons, improving soil health and reducing anything the crop does not need.
Fresh produce handling and carefully planned production.
A clear goal: meeting our customers’ needs.
Our story
Yesterday's roots,
today's vision.
Biosiculà grew from the farming experience of Salvatore, who, like his father before him, cultivated the land for years while seeking his place within traditional channels and large-scale retail.
A new chapter began in 2014. Paola chose to bring growers and buyers as close together as possible through a short supply chain. Today she works alongside her husband Paolo, sharing the same goal: continually improving production quality through study, experimentation and increasingly thoughtful agronomic practices.
This choice changed the way we work. A direct relationship with the market has helped us grow, understand customer needs and specialise over time in increasingly targeted varieties and crops.
Over the years, we have broadened our range by involving selected growers from our area. These long-standing partners cultivate specific varieties that complement our seasonal offer. We are proud of these relationships because they give customers more choice while supporting farms close to our own.
Today, after more than ten years working with a short supply chain, Biosiculà serves customers in several European countries while staying true to the same principle: reducing the distance between those who grow and those who choose the produce.
For us, a short supply chain is not necessarily about covering only a few kilometres. It means fewer steps, transparency and relationships. It supports those who invest in their land and lets consumers play an active role in their food choices by knowing who they buy from and where their food comes from.

Values and quality
“True quality does not always look perfect. Sometimes it has an irregular shape or a different colour, yet its flavour, natural character and authenticity remain intact.”

Going beyond organic
Two years ago, we chose to go one step further by obtaining Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC™) certification.
That is why we work on soil vitality and fertility, care for the people involved in our project and strive to use natural resources ever more responsibly, starting with water. For us, regenerative agriculture means doing more than preserving what we have: it means working so that the soil, the environment and the entire farming system can improve over time.
Our idea is simple: do better by using less.
Each year, dedicated inspections verify this journey, which translates into tangible choices in our fields: more ground cover, greater attention to biodiversity, care for soil structure and more conscious management of available resources.
The quality of our organic Sicilian produce is certified by Bioagricert S.r.l. Unipersonale, an inspection and certification body operating in the agri-food sector since 1984.
